Amy Osmond Cook, Ph.D.
Publisher

Amy Cook has spent the past fifteen years working in every aspect of the publishing industry. She loves all aspects of the book business but especially enjoys author mentoring and being a publishing coach. She teaches writing and communication courses at Arizona State University, writes for L.A. Family Magazine, and is a relationship expert for Cupid’s Pulse.com. She received her B.A. and M.A. in English from Brigham Young University and her Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Utah.

Alden Weight, Ph.D.
Editor

Alden has over twenty years of editorial experience ranging from business to journalism to academia. He has worked as a news copy editor and page designer (East Valley Tribune, The Gazette), as well as an academic writer and reviewer. Alden currently teaches mass media at Arizona State University. He holds a B.A. in Humanities/English, an M.A. in sociology, and a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Iowa.

Jeffrey Cook, MBA
Finance

Jeffrey Cook has an extensive background in Finance. Over his career in corporate finance and asset management, he has managed a portfolio of investments valued in excess of $2 billion. He has served in executive positions such as as Vice President of Asset Management at Silverpeak Real Estate Partners and Director of Asset Management at SunCal Companies. Jeffrey is also an educator and has taught finance at Oregon State University and San Diego State University.

Michelle Erickson, MBA
Marketing

Michelle's experience in marketing ranges from rebranding strategy and integration to social media campaign design, and her work has been seen across the healthcare services, medical consumables, traditional publishing, and interior design industries. She received her B.S. from Brigham Young University and her MBA from the University of Utah. In her spare time, she loves working on entrepreneurial ventures and traveling with her husband, Joe.

Madison Stevens
Operations

Madison Stevens graduated from Brigham Young University's nationally ranked business program with an emphasis in marketing. She has worked as a project manager and strategist for companies such as Target and Ju-Ju-Be. She loves home organization, traveling, and relaxing on the beach with a good book. Madison lives in sunny Newport Beach with her husband, Matt.

Marian Brown
Publicity

An expert in all aspects of publicity, book marketing, advertising and special events, Marian enjoys working with first-time and established authors to help them demystify the entire publishing and publicity machine. She is well connected and highly respected; her contacts folder is chock full of journalists, reviewers and media producers throughout the country with whom she maintains excellent relationships. Marian has worked with the major publishing houses including Alfred. A. Knopf, Basic Books, The Free Press, Pantheon, Henry Holt, Wiley, Houghton Mifflin. Doubleday, Simon and Schuster and Bloomsbury. She has held upper-management positions in publicity, advertising and editorial and now specializes in the areas of business, politics, narrative non-fiction, fiction, self-published fiction, memoir, psychology and pop culture.

Jennifer Cummings, Ph.D.
Ghostwriting

Jennifer holds a Ph. D. from the University of Utah in Communication, where she also teaches and continues her research in interpersonal communication and family relationships. As a teacher and communication consultant, she helps students and clients understand and more fully enjoy the relationships that matter most. As a copy editor and ghostwriter, Jennifer finds fulfillment in helping authors write effectively about those relationships. Above all, Jennifer loves being a mom to her beautiful daughter.

Melissa White
Author Mentoring

Melissa White received her BA in Mathematics Education from Brigham Young University. Her math background comes in handy when editing business manuscripts, computer manuals, and sci-fi novels. She has tutored students for the past 15 years and finds satisfaction in helping them advance their skills. Melissa loves to read novels, cook delicious food, and spend time with her family.

Sarah Hilton
Customer Service

Sarah Hilton has been in the customer care industry for eleven years. She has held management positions in hospitals and nursing homes, including case manager for preventive cardiology at the University of Utah. She and her husband, Adam, have two children.

Carrie Rasmussen
Events

Carrie Rasmussen received her B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University. She has worked in customer service and event planning for many years. Carrie loves to run, cook, and travel. She lives in Laguna Niguel, California, with her husband of seventeen years and their four children.

Bonnie Siegler is the West Coast Editor at Rive Gauche Media and an Editor for Women's First Magazine. Bonnie has an illustrious freelance writing career and has interviewed every celebrity imaginable.
